What we do.

The right help for your season.

Grow

Strategic guidance for owners ready to scale operations, build leadership depth, and increase enterprise value before the next chapter.

Most common

Transition

Succession planning that protects your team and your legacy. We help you hand the keys over thoughtfully, to family, partners, or the right outside buyer.

Exit

End-to-end sale support: valuation, buyer sourcing, negotiation, and close. You stay focused on the business while we manage the process.

Our selling process.

Simple steps. No pressure.

01

Conversation first

We start by listening. No pitch, no pressure, just a clear understanding of where you are and where you want to go.

02

Valuation and preparation

We assess the business honestly and prepare the documentation, financials, and story buyers need to see.

03

Finding the right buyer

We source buyers who fit your business and your team, not just the highest bidder, the right one.

04

Close with confidence

We stay through negotiations to make sure the final deal reflects the value you've built over the years.

Michigan roots. National reach.

We were built around the businesses that built Michigan, and we now bring that same focus to trade owners across the country. Family-run HVAC shops, second-generation plumbing companies, mechanical contractors, and construction outfits, these are the companies we understand best, wherever they operate.

Our work is relationship-driven and slow on purpose. The decisions you make about your business affect your family, your employees, and the community you've spent decades in. That deserves a real advisor, not a transaction.

Meet the team

Michigan roots

Headquartered in Michigan, we bring local market expertise to business owners across the country.

Relationship first

Most of our work begins as a conversation that lasts months or years before anything is signed.

Full-cycle advisory

From first conversation to closing day, and the integration that follows. We don't disappear at signing.

Our Team.

The people behind CBG.
